Moved our game to last night and had a pretty convincing 9-0 win vs the Crown Coleham.
One of our new lads Graham had a nice 146 c/o and nige continued his good early season form.

Played Monday - Coracle 4 - 5 Bull in the Barne B Coracle raced to a 2-0 lead, Bull getting back to 2-2, then eventually ended up at 4-4. Both teams were on a lean squad, with players not used to playing left , hence a long last leg, with both teams wondering whether the consolation might be a better option !! Russ eventually wining 2-0 for the BITB for first win in 2 years

BITB B 8-1 PLough (pont)
Comfortable win by BITB - who won on the night 5-1, last 3 games not played.
Birthday Boy Beasty the only loser - so let him off the onion

Cat 2-7 Crown (0-5)
Good wins for Steve and, an almost better now, Stu, but we didn't really get going in the front 5, when it mattered. Graham and I forced deciding legs, only to start too slowly in them. Crown clinical as always. Even Laney managed to get a win.
Was told to mention a spectacular score of 3 by Tomo, but I couldn't possibly embarass him like that.

Compasses Ditherington A 7 -2 BITB A
Actual result was 6-2. The BITB didn't have a last player. There was an interesting comment made about the state of the Compasses dartboard. Something along the lines of it wasn't very good. I found that quite amusing, particularly when you consider it is a nearly new blade 4 dartboard. It has been used for The Shrewsbury Premier Darts League and The Shropshire Superleague and last night was the first complaint that I'm aware of. I think the person in question lost his match, funny that. Anyway all in all it was an enjoyable night of darts.
