Another successful darts tournament completed. From 2pm in the afternoon till 11pm at night we played 202 games of darts. Im amazed at the support we get from all the people who take part. A massive thank you to Paul Andrew, Stubbsy, Melv, Pickle, Neil Evans and especially by big sister who keeps all these dart players in order. A special thank you to Sue for helping out during the day, you're a star. Well done to Jamie Chaplin from Halfway House on winning the singles, beating Pickle in the final, I know how difficult it is to help out running the tournament as well as playing. I was amazed how well Pickle did considering he was there early helping out. And well done to the dynamic duo of Matt and Boothy winning the doubles their names will be the first on our new shield. Just a note to everyone there, The Brooklands took responsibility for running the raffle and as far as Im aware it wasn't drawn and if it was, non of the dart players knew about it. So I would like to aplogise to everyone who had a go! As a goodwill gesture we will run a FREE raffle at our next event after Sunnysands and I will try and find out what happened to the winning ticket. Sorry to go on but its important to us that things are done right! Roll on Sunnysands
