Bricklayers 5-3 Red Castle Cracking result for us against a decent side, thanks largely to the brilliance of my stand-in captaincy . Went 5-0 up, which was nice. Good to build on the away point last week. MOM: Azza Second week running, great performance - 25.05 average; a 126 checkout in the first leg (19, 57, Bull) with his opponent sitting on tops was massive. Paul Andrew hit a 180 in his victory, which i might have forgotten to put on the card match report thing. Great night anyway, the castle are quality.

Well done to stand-in Skipper, Disco Hippo.
Red Castle are far too good a team to stay bottom, and perhaps they should have let their youngster play singles. He was brilliant. Future top player for sure.
Bring on the Wheatsheaf next week!

Dissapointing night for the castle once again, poor finishing letting us down but taking nothing away from the brick they played very well. May of made a mistake in not giving matt a game the way he played in the doubles giving me a gentle reminder of that ! Will we get a point next week, lets hope so

Belvidere 7 Rock and Fountain 1
Match of the Night Paul Rowley v Vaughan Owens superb. Paul won 2-1. What a game! Paul had average nearly 30 to win. Pleasure to watch. Two of the best players ever to play in Shrewsbury.
Jim Elsey found some of the form we know he can deliver Average 26.
Rest of the team were awesome. Rock played their part 7-1 was harsh on them.
Results and Tables updated.

Brick managed to extend our unbeaten run to three with a 5-3 win at the Wheatsheaf. Some great darts, Paul Hellwig losing with a 22.35 avg with a 117 c/o, hippo hitting a 16 dart leg, Les Medlicott finally hitting double one to put us ahead . Good night had, looking forward to the Duncan next week.

Crown 5 Belvidere 3
Top two teams met Crown bought in John Roberts for this one, I guess he made the difference. Winning his singles and then hitting the winning double to claim victory in the final doubles game. He played very well nice too see.
Fair play to Gordy giving most of the Crown lads a game, its the way it should be done.
Our lads took defeat as I expected with great dignity.
Game was played in the right way.
Again Paul Rowley and Jim Elsey awesome!
Bring on next week.
