Brick lost 5-3 to the crown, really good night and some good darts thrown, very happy that it was a competitive match against the league leaders.

Yeah, good game. Highlight for us was probably Jez's 111 out to turn a game that Laney seemed to be in control of. And my heroics obviously . Really enjoying this league.

Good luck to my Friday night team mates Paul Rowley and Dan Dean who will miss our Friday night encounter with the Charles Darwin. The duo are bidding to get into the Daily Mirror Grand Slam of Darts through the qualifer at Barnsley on Friday.
What a line up they will have to beat a field of 277 players with 6 World Champions also in the field John Part,Dennis Priestley,Richie Burnett,Andy Fordham,Jelle Klessen and John Boy Walton with just 4 spaces up for grabs.
Dan is in the Unicorn under 21 world championships on Saturday with the both the finalists also going through to the Grand Slam at Wolverhampton and also Dave Pallett is playing Friday and is in the under 21 championships on Saturday.
All 3 play in the Shrewsbury league and are regulars at the SDO events it would be great for Shrewsbury darts if they could get to near by Wolverhampton for a chance in a lifetime
Good luck to all 3.
